Our Story

We matched on Hinge in 2022. Andrea opened with a question about Paulina's travel photos from Colombia, and two hours of nonstop texting later, a first date was already planned.

Dinner at a tiny Italian restaurant in Coral Gables. We closed the place down talking for four hours and then walked around the neighborhood until midnight.

Andrea proposed at sunset on a private rooftop overlooking the Miami skyline. Paulina thought they were going to a friend's birthday. She said yes before he finished the question.

Two weeks in Italy: Rome, Florence, the Amalfi Coast. We got lost in Trastevere, ate our weight in pasta, and decided this was the kind of life we wanted to build together.

Paulina cannot stand when Andrea leaves cabinet doors open. Andrea cannot handle when Paulina puts alarms five minutes apart and snoozes every single one.

Andrea can solve a Rubik's cube in under two minutes. Paulina can recite the entire script of The Princess Bride from memory. Neither talent has proved especially useful.

Ordering way too much sushi on a Friday night and binge-watching reality TV. We are not proud of it, but we are not stopping either.

"Perfect" by Ed Sheeran. It played during our first slow dance at a friend's wedding, months before Andrea proposed. Now it is ours.

A month-long road trip through New Zealand: mountains, fjords, hobbit holes. We have been planning the route on a shared Google Map for over a year.

Andrea cooks, Paulina tastes. He makes a risotto that could make an Italian grandmother cry. She makes reservations. It is a balanced partnership.
